7 Things We're Talking About

At Priority, we’re always closely monitoring the latest trends in print, mail, promotional products, and marketing. Here’s what’s been on our minds lately – and should be on your radar too.

  1. SWAG BOXES
    • Do you remember how much fun it was (and still is!) to unwrap a gift for your birthday when you were a kid? Swag boxes aim to recreate that joyful experience and direct positive energy toward your brand. Swag boxes are great for any number of occasions, whether you’re assembling welcome kits for a special event, giving new hires an onboarding pack, or showing appreciation for work anniversaries or special achievements. Priority can source gifts, create branded packaging and customized messaging, and handle storage and shipping, all geared at creating a unique experience and increasing positive brand associations.
  2. BUILDING WRAPS
    • Take large-scale promotional graphics to the next level with building wraps. These oversized exterior graphics can cover either a portion of the outside of a building or even its entire façade. Building wraps can be installed on a temporary or permanent basis, allowing you to switch things up when needed, but durable and vibrant enough to last for the long haul. Building wraps are great for any number of purposes, including:
      • Promoting a special event or milestone
      • Advertising your brand in general
      • Announcing something to your community
      • Creating a visual experience with your building as a “canvas”
      • Covering up construction areas
  3. GOING GREEN WITH BRANDED PROMOTIONS
    • If you want to “go green” with your swag and apparel options, we can help. There are plenty of environmentally sustainable options. Let us know what you want to accomplish, and we will help you reach your goal.
  4. THE BENEFITS OF UV PRINTING
    • Priority Press now offers both conventional offset and UV offset. With UV offset, sheets come off the press already dry and ready for bindery operations. UV ink is durable and scuff-resistant and can look more vibrant than conventional inks on uncoated papers. Choose from UV coatings and include special effects for even more design creativity. Let your account executive know if you would like to see samples.
  5. DIRECT MAIL MASTERCLASS
    • This spring, Priority Group held our Direct Mail MasterClass, a virtual event exploring the latest and greatest techniques to transform direct mail marketing. Featuring interactive sessions and self-guided presentations, more than 150 marketers and designers signed up to participate. Sessions covered hot topics in direct mail today, from improving deliverability rates and reducing postage costs to using personalized QR codes and Every Door Direct Mail. Attendees received a complimentary Direct Mail Pro Resource Kit, filled with up-to-the-minute information and resources. If you missed out, talk to your account executive about setting up a special session.
  6. ENGRAVING
    • For anyone looking for ways to make print pieces feel truly special, engraving techniques might be the solution you’re looking for. This traditional print technique allows printers to reproduce images with intricate details and a wide range of type fonts on all types of papers. It’s ideal for making a print piece feel more elegant or high-end and is often used on pieces like invitations, stationery, business cards, programs, or certificates.
  7. POSTAL PROMOTIONS
    • One easy way to save money on direct mail is by taking advantage of postal promotions. Annually announced by the U.S. Postal Service, these promotions offer discounts for direct mail campaigns that meet certain criteria and are scheduled at certain times.
