Joe Straka is the President and CEO of The Priority Group, an integrated brand delivery platform that helps companies produce, deliver and grow their brand in the marketplace. At Priority, he leads a company with 40 years of experience helping clients deliver their brand and through channels people see, touch, feel and experience.
Joe is a successful brand manager and entrepreneur with a broad and distinguished career. As a corporate executive, Joe worked for Procter and Gamble in brand management leading strategic initiatives for household brands Dawn, Joy, Cascade, Mr. Clean, Febreze and Swiffer. Joe began his career at Ernst & Young as a management consultant assisting Fortune 500 companies. As an entrepreneur, Joe helped launch a venture backed software company and founded a national real estate development firm working with substantial private equity firms.
The oldest of four brothers, Joe purchased Priority Press with his youngest brother Rob in 2009 from their father, Jay Straka, who founded Priority Press in 1980. Building upon Priority Press, the Straka brothers founded Priority Group and began building an integrated family of companies to assist brand managers and marketing driven organizations.
Today, Priority Group serves organizations of all types—name brands, start-ups and mom and-pops—on a national basis. Priority Group consists of seven companies including: Priority Press, Priority Graphics, Priority Promotions, Priority Imaging, Priority Products, Shirley Engraving and Diversity Press.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University and a MBA with concentrations in marketing, strategy and finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Rob Straka is Co-Founder and Vice President of Client Services (Brand Delivery) of The Priority Group, an integrated brand delivery platform that helps companies produce, deliver and grow their brands in the marketplace. At Priority, Rob oversees brand delivery ensuring that all Priority clients are completely delighted in every way possible.
Rob began his career at Priority Press learning the business from his father Jay who founded the commercial printing company in 1980. During this time Rob learned various aspects of the business including operations, sales and customer satisfaction. Rob’s customers included companies United Healthcare, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Napa Autoparts, the National Football League and Adidas amongst others.
The youngest of four brothers, Rob purchased Priority Press with his oldest brother Joe in 2009 from their father. A graduate of Michigan State University, Rob has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Psychology and will graduate from the Harvard Business School in 2022.
